April 16th 1999 - Remembering Skip Spence, an original member of Jefferson Airplane and Moby Grape, he died of lung cancer in a San Francisco hospital at the age of 52. He had battled schizophrenia and alcoholism and had been on a ventilator for 11 days before his death.

April 16th 1967: Cream appeared at the "Daily Express Record Star Show". They performed at Wembley's Empire Pool. They were also part of the "Brighton Arts Festival" and "Barbeque 67" the same year, performing alongside acts like The Who, Pink Floyd, and The Move.
